St. Patrick’s Day!!!
I guess it’s safe to say that winter is never coming back. At least this side of the calendar, anyway. Spring is pretty much here now; even the grass and trees are dressed for St. Patrick’s Day! Speaking of which, March 17 has a special place in my heart. And no, it’s not because of the holiday! Three years ago today, I was on the campus of OCU for the first time. I had thought that I knew where I was going to attend college the following fall. But then I came on a campus tour here. After meeting with Brian Baker, Caren Richeson, the dean of the school of business, and other faculty members, and seeing the campus and all it had to offer, I knew that this was the place that I wanted and needed to be. I wanted to attend a Christian university that was close to home and had a small-town friendly atmosphere. OCU was everything I was looking for, from the small class sizes, to teachers that call you by name even when they see you outside the classrooms. This truly is a place where lasting friendships are formed and where you can meet fellow students who come from all over the world. March 17 wasn’t just a lucky day; it was God opening up a window of opportunities, and I feel very blessed to be a part of
